Mathew getting his kindergarten diploma

These 2 layouts are of my son getting his kindergarten diploma. I did these layouts for the chipboard challenge over at Treasured Scrapbooking. I have never really used chipboard before. at least not to what I could say I really liked the end result of the layout. However, this layout I think turned out great. I used chipboard to accent Mathew getting his diploma also to accentuate his name. I used a scalloped chipboard boarder and my new glimmer glam, just out of the postal box, alog with distress rock candy. I finally added a star ribbon pull along with ribbon and two other chipboard stars. The chipboard stars were colored using distress antique brone and brass crackle paint. I then took distress rock candy and went over the top of them to crack them further. The ribbon is a piece from my stash. The papers are basic grey recess collection. Hugs Tracy

Mathew on his way to his kindergarten graduation

This is a layout of my son at his kindergarten graduation. I used Basic Grey Recess paper and outlined the flourish on the side with Broken China distress stickles. I added flourish sticker and a rub on from my stash. I also used the Tim Holtz time mask and went over the mask with Broken China. I know this challenge is to combine your old stash with the new. I realize this paper is somewhat old but it is new to me. The mask I just bought on sale at a local scrapbooking store. The stickles and distress ink are old as well as the sticker. The crown rub on is new. I had a lot of fun making this layout Hugs tacy

Just to say hi

Hello everyone
How are you today? well a lot has been happening. My older son moved into my father in law's house. He is thrilled to finally have a place of his own. He is really taking great care of the place too. We are still trying to sell it but for now Mathew is enjoying the bachelor life. He does not have to pay rent but he must keep it clean in case someone wants to see it. It is a nice baby step into the adult world where he will have to pay rent and utilities. He does pay for his own food.
Also With one moving out another moved in. My step son Blake has moved in. It is so great to have him here. He is a good kid. It is also nice that we get a chance to see him all the time instead of the occasional weekend. He likes the high school. My son L.B. is a junior and Blake is a sophomore. The both take Japanese which helps out a lot with the studying. They talk to each other all the time in Japanese. It is fun to watch them speak to each other and communicate on a whole different level.
Life is starting to fall into a routine with the new school year. I am looking forward to a year full of challenges and laughter and probably a more than a few disagreements but overall I feel it will be a great year. Hugs and best wishes Tracy

Thanks for looking.

Nightlife

In this challenge I only had 20 minutes to put this together. 5 minutes were supposed to be spent gathering supplies and the remaining 15 minutes were to spent putting the layout together. You did have to incorporate flowers, fruit or veggies, green, brown, and words. So I did this the flowers are pretty easy to spot they are prima flowers. The felt strip is also made up of flowers. I used brown in the satin ribbon strip and cardstock background paper. WOrd are in the title "nightlife" and in the journaling. The fruits or veggies can be found in the basic grey offbeat paper that is found behind the top photo on the left hand side of the page. I hope you enjoy this layout. Thank you for watching. Hugs Tracy

A Day in the Park

In this 12x12 layout I used pattern paper from Basic Grey's Offbeat line and cardstock from Bazzill. I used tim holtz distress inks in faded blue jeans and artic blue chalk ink from my stash. I also made the flowers from my slice design cartridge #2. I big flower that in the bottom right
corner of the main picture was stamped with a studio 490 stamp and scattered straw distress ink by tim holtz. The journling spot die cut was made with the slice cartridge #2 and some scrap yellow paper from my stash. I also stamped on it with a flower journaling stamp.
The title was made with my slice and the animal crackers cartridge. The word park came from an american craft thickers alpha set. I hope you enjoy this layout. I had so much fun making it. Thank you for viewing it. The photos are from Central Park in New York

Birds Eye View layout Challenge #3

This layout is for the 3rd challenge at Treasured scrapbooking. I did a ton of distressing and ripping and tearing in this layout.
I took an old piece of Bazzill cardsotck from my stash as the base for this layout. I used various background stamps and stamped on left hand side and bottom of the blue cardstock. I also added a bird that I cut out of Basic grey offbeat paper and added it to the left hand corner. I used pineapple glimmer mist to make the bird shimmer. I tore a stamp with a plane on it from K& Co. homemade die cuts pack and added it to the top right and corner. I also edged this with waterslide glimmer mist. I took the other part of the stamp and added it to the bottom almost center of the page. This too was edged with waterslide glimmer mist.I used tim holtz broken china, faded jeans and weathered wood distress inks. Then I took a piece of Best Creations Blue glitter paper and tore it on 3 sides. I distressed it further with tattered angels bubbes and waterslide glimmer mist. The top layer of pattern paper came from Basic Grey offbeat. It was ripped and distressed with yellow daisy and mustard seed glimmer msit. I rolled all three layers in various spots to add interest and dimension. Top left hand corner I placed my main photo and added a frame frm the K& Co. homemade die cut collection. The envelope, ticket, word strips that say blue skies up above, and circle die cut wit hthe plane in the center all came from K& co. homemade die cut collection pack. All were glimmer misted with yellow daisy and sunflower glimmer mist. The post card ournaling spot and photo mat came from Close t my heart stamp set and was stamped using faded jeans distress ink by tim holtz. Finally I took a 5"x31/2" Basic Grey offbeat pattern paper and ripped it and distressed it with yellow daisy and mustard seed glimmer mist. I also rolled some of the edges and used dimensional adhesive to give some areas a lift. I then added 3 more photos and a tag fromthe homemade die cut collection from K & co.
I hope you like my layout. It was fun tearing and distressing the paper.

Layout for CHallenge #2 at Treasured Scrapbooking

In this challenge we had to create a layout that was the title of the song. However, the song title had to include the word sunshine or summer.
Title of my layout is Summer in the City
I used Basic Grey off beat paper along with a piece of weathered tan pattern paper from my stash as the two main papers in this layout. I cut the tan pattern paper to imitate a city skyline.
I then glimmer misted 4 flowers with sunshine and mimosa glimmer mist and added brads to the centers of the flowers. The brads are from the basic grey offbeat collection as well. before placing the flowers on the paper I stamped and embossed 3 different flourishes. I used Tim Holtz orange distress ink and ranger clear detail embossing powder. I than added a flower die cut sticker from Basic Grey's Offbeat collection and the dried glimmer misted flowers. took the title my sweetie pie from K& Co. homemade dies cut shapes and added it to the flower for a stem. The picture of Chris and the flower are on a flolder that was cut off of my cricut. The times square sticker is from Karen Foster New York cardstock stickers. The skyscraper stickers are from StickyPix autocollants cardstock stickers.
The journaling ticket shape is cut from my cricut. For the finishing touch I edged the tan pattern paper with Tim oltz honey distress inks and Making memories tuscan sun glimmer mist.
I hope you renjoy the layout. Thank you so much for looking

Off to the park

In this layout I took 6x6 sheet of Paper Studios burlap pattern paper
and used it as the foundation of the page. In the far left corner of the page I stamped a Donna Salazar lace stamp and heat embossed it with Ranger detail white embossing powder. I then used my stampabilities cirlce die cut to cut out a circle shape of Prima paper and added it to the bottom right hand corner. I edged the circle shape with Prima lace. In the center is a Brenda Walton flower sticker that was glimme rmisted in old lace. I also added 2 more Brenda Walton stickers that were placed on with 2 differnent heights of pop dots. The flower used samlled pop dots to secure it to the page. On the butterfly I wanted it to look like it was resting on the flower so I needed more dimension so I used thicker pop dots. I added some prima swirls as the trail for the butterfly. I also have 2 circle tags which were punced out using my Cuttlebug and Stampabilities cirlce die cut. Both were edged with 2 different types of Prima lace. I wanted the lace to look layered when the tags were in place.
I hope you enjoyed this 6x6 layout. Thank you for viewing it.

Girls layout

In he Girls layout I again used Imaginisce flower paper as the base for this layout along with a 4' strip of orange bazzill cardstock. I also used a border sticker to eas the transition between the two papers. Onthe left hand side of the page I used a flower from my aunts bridal bouquet as the foundation for the picture of the two flower girls. I added Martha Stewart pearls around the photo. I also added 3 butterflies on the petals of the flower. I used bazzill floss and template to stich the stem of the flower. To the bottom right hand side of the flower I added another flower from my stash place a cirlce punch in the cetner of the flower and a butterfly sticker on the circle punch. On the orange cardstock I placed 5 glittered prima flowers in 2 shades of orange. and added metal letters that spell out the word girls. In the top right hand corner I added a butterfly dimensional sticker. I used these colors because they matched my aunts colors in her wedding. I also tried to add a personal touch by taking a flower from her bouquet and adding it to the page. I hope you enjoyed this layout. Thank yo so much for viewing it.

Flower

In the flower layout I used Imaginisce flower paper as the basis of this 12x12 layout. I used a 4 inch strip of orange bazzill cardstok to the right hand side as the backdrop of my title. I used 6 prima flowers in 2 shades of orange and placed letters on top that spell flower. I used a border sticker to ease the transition of the orange cardstock and pattern paper. I used one of my aunts flowers from her bridal bouquet as the base for the photo of the two flower girls. I then cut the photo using a circle punch and place martha stewart pearls around the photo. I took 2 butterfly stickers and placed them on the flower for added interest. I hand stitched the stem of the flower with Bazzill floss and template. In the fight hand corner I place a flower from my stash added a circle punch to the center with a butterfly on top. I hope you enoy this layout. Thank you for looking at it.

You're Invited layout

You're Invited layout. I took a piece of Imaginisce paper that says save the date on it as the base of this layout. I than layered a 12x12 postge stamp chipboard on top of the Imaginesce paper. That served as a frame for the layout. On the postage stamp chipboard I stamped the title You're Invited with a making memories heart sticker in the cneter of the two words. I added making memories brown glitter to the heart. On the other 3 sides of the postage stamp frame I added various making memories hearts as well and added making memories glitter. On the inside of the postage fram I added my aunts wedding invitation(to the left side of the frame). I added silver photo corners to the inviation. I layered a photo of my aunt and her soon to be husband. I framed the photo with another postage stamp chipboard and glimmer misted it in old lace. I added a invitation sticker to the corner of the photo of my aunt.
In the top right corner I punched out a circle and added the date of their wedding and their names. I also added 3 stamped wavy lines to make it look like a piece of stamped mail.
Just below those ebellishments I added a sticker that says love & kisses and framed it with another postage stamped frame. To top that embellishment off I added making memories brown glitter. On the right hand bottom I have the reception card of my aunts wedding with the information on where the reception was to be held. I also added photo corners to this as well.
I hope you enjoy this layout. I carried the theme of mailing the invitation through out.

Father's day card

This is a fathers day card I made. I took a piece of flocked cardsotck to make the base of this card. I used dark brown bazzill cardsock in the center and distressed it with Tattered Angels Olive Vine and Coffee Shop glimmer mist. Than I layered a piece of pattern paper on top of that to add interest. I cut out another piece of bazzill bling cardstock and used my cuttle bug to cut a quickutz top note shape as the base for my title. I added interest to the top note shape by taking a Tim Holtz flourish mask and spraying Olive Vine and Coffee Shop glimmer mist on the top note shape. I took a sticker from my stash that says (my hero) my dad and placed it on the topnote shape. In the top left corner I punched out a 1/2" dark green cirlce out of some scrap cardstock in my stash. I placed a Prima flower center in silver on the circle and put pop dots underneath to give this some dimension. I also added a Creative Imaginations sticker that says wonderful you. To further enhance the corner I took a piece of string from my stash and glimmer misted it in Coffee Shop to match the Tim Holtz tolken I wanted to use. I tied the Tim Holtz token that says wonderful around the Prima flower center so that it could hang just below the sticker in the left corner. As a finishing touch the bottom of the card was puched with a top note edge punch and I added dimension to the shape by edging the paper with Coffee Shop glimmer mist. I hope you like this recessed window card.

2 of my latest layouts

In this layout I wanted to sowcase the flower girl by putting the picture in the center of a flower from the brides bouquet. I used half back pearls to furter accent the picture. The background is a cream pattern. The bride used butterflies in her center pieces so I wanted to inccorperate them into this layout by adding the butterflies to a few petals of the flower. I also stitched the stem of the flower and added a second flower to the bottom of the page. I punched a cirle and added another butterfly for the center of that flower. TO smooth the transition between pattern paper and the orange cardstock I added a border sticket wit a flower theme. To incorperate the title I used metal letters and placed them in the center of the flowers.

In this layout I wanted to showcase the wedding invitation. I took a large frame in the form of a postage stamp to frame all the elements of this page. I used pattern paper with the words save the date to follow the theme of the invitation. On the frame stamp I took 5 heart stickers and added glue and glitter for little sparkle. For the title at the top of the page I stamped the words you're invited wtih a glitterd heart sticker in the center of the two words. I wanted to keep the theme of mailing the invitation by adding a postage mark in the upper right hand corner of the page with the bride and grooms name and wedding date on it. Underneath that I have added another postage frame that I added glitter to and a die cut with the words love & kisses. I have also included my copy of the invitaion to the wedding and reception and to help the page flow I added another postage stamp frame with the bride and groom's picture in it and a couple of envelope stickers.

Hello again

Hello everyone.
I wanted to give you an update on what I have been doing. Well first of all I am working on a mini for a friend of mine her name is Karin. Her and her husband (Mac) have 2 beautiful daughters Madeline and Presley. Maddie's birthday is on the 4th of July so I will give this to her for Maddie's b-day. My cousin Brooke is expecting her first baby soon. It is a boy (Mason) so I will be doing a mini for her. Then I am a volunteer at life on the scrap beach. If someone signs up for a swap and their partner fails to swap with them I volunteered to step in and finish the swap. It can be a mini swap, paper swap or a kit swap. There are several volunteers and my name was next in line. So I am doing a mini for a wonderful lady named Shanta. Yep I have a lot going right now but that is alright I like it that way. I am also doing a paper swap and a kit swap. But I have most of the supplies for these.
Anyway that is what is on craft plate. Tonight is the all night crop at the beach. I will be attending that and submitting a few pages for the challenges. Yeah. I love the all night crop. So what are you up to?
I would love to hear from you.
Finally I want to let you know I will be doing a rak of some sort very soon. I have quite a few subscriptions on my youtube channel that I feel it is about time to do a rak. I am also going to be adding more pictures and info on this blog. I think it is important that I promote my blog a little more. I want you all to know I will be selling mini album kits. I am really going to pursue this beginning next month. I think that with all the paper and goodies I have collected over the past few months that I start making kits. I am going to keep the cost down but provide as much of the items that I like to use in my minis as possible. Tons of prima, laces, fibers, ribbon maybe an ink pad, or glimmer mist or some sort of coloring agent. And I feel I should give back to those that follow me so I may even give a kit away every now and than to some lucky person that purchases a kit from me. Anyway I have some great ideas so please keep following me to see if you are one of the lucky ones.
Hugs and best wishes Tracy

What I have been up to

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all having a great day. The weather has been so beautiful here in northwest Indiana and I am loving it. Last week my 2 boys had spring break. They were happy to be out of school. Unfortunately on Monday march 15,2010 at 8:20pm my soon to be father-in-law passed away at Saint Anthony Memorial Hospital in Michigan City Indiana. He had an Aneurysm on his abdomen in the aorta. The doctors refer to it as a triple a. (AAA) We found out about it 4 years ago and they could not operate then because he would not have survived the surgery. Well they had no choice but to operate and he did make it through the surgery but died 20 minutes later. Michelle (his daughter), Chris ( his son &my fiancee) and I were there to let him know we loved him. Than he passed away.I do not believe he was in any pain. He will always be remembered. So my kids had to take a day out their spring break to go to the funeral. That was a very sad day for all of us. We are now getting trough it. Everyday gets a little easier. I did take my younger son to go see Alice in Wonderland. That movie was great. I really had a great time with him.
Now they are back in school. Ready to finish the school year and enjoy their summer vacation. For my older son,Mathew, he will be graduating high school and starting his new life as an adult. Wow how fast they grow up. I am currently working on making some satin flowers and working on a mini album for a friend of mine. I am about half way done. I am also involved in a paper swap, a kit swap, and a personal swap with a friend of mine in the UK. SO as always I am keeping busy.
Well I would like to thank you for stopping by and please leave a comment or ask a question Hugs and best wishes Tracy

Just a quick update

Hello everyone
I hope you are all having a great day. Last night I attended an all night crop at thescrapbeach.ning. It was so much fun. The theme for the evening was the 80's. I have completed a few pages for the challenges and I will be posting them here soon. I am also involved in several swaps. I am in 2 tag swaps. One tag swap is almost complete and the other is the begining stages. I was also in a kit swap wich I jsut got my package of goodies and my partner got hers. Next is a paper swap that I am involved in. Me and my partner Vangie agreed to swap 12x12 papers. I bought her the new Tim holtz paper pack and Webster pages paper. I am also including a bottle of glimmer mist, journaling cards, some prima flowers and lace. We are both a little late on the swap because the tim holtz paper I ordered was not in stock. Finally I am involved in a rak swap with Michelle Roman. I just recieved her goodies Websters 6X6 lullaby and life's portrait papers along with journaling spots, glimmer mist and a few sheets of cardstock that I will make diecuts with from my cricut and sizzix dies. So as you can I am going full speed ahead. I like it that way. My plate full with plenty to keep me occupied.

Catching up

Hi everyone
I hope you are all having a great evening. I am right in the middle of watching my favorite show The Good Wife. I love this show. Not only is it filmed in Chicago, which is 45 mins from my front door but it is a lawyer show which I love.
I want you to know that I have been watching so many videos lately. I love ozegran. Her videos show her making her mini's and then she shows the final completed mini. Her work is very good. I also like marion at apieceofcraft. Again she goes in to detail how she makes her minis and then she shows the completed mini. However, she does not have a lot of minis on video. I also really love Sandra Perdomo she is sandraperdomo79 on youtube. She is fabulous. You must check out these very talented ladies. There are a few more that I watch Arlene and Bona at deuxshabbychic.blogspot.com and Kathryn at thescrapbeach.ning.com All are very good. I also am involved in two tag swaps, a rak swap, and a paper swap this month. So I am very busy but that is how I live my life. Full sped ahead.
I also want to mention thescrapbeach.ning hosts a crop once a month. It is an all nighter and I love it. The do contests and it is a lot of fun. Lots of women scrapping and hourly challenges. Check it out if you have a chance. I went to my first one about 3 months ago and I have yet to miss one. I love it. The beach is a fun and very friendly community.Check it out.
Well that is about it. I hope everyone has a wonderful evening. I will be posting more soon. So stay tuned.
Thanks for stopping by.Tracy

What I have been up to

Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a great day. Today is sunny and cold in Northwest Indiana. We just got about a foot or two of snow over the past couple of days. Now we are in the process of digging ourselves out. It has given me plenty of time to finish a tag for a tag swap I am in at Deux Shabby Chic. I posted a video to show you the process of making this tag. I hope you enjoy the video. I also have another tag I am making for a tag swap on the scrap beach. I will be posting a video soon on that as well. I will of course be posting a haul video either today or tomorrow of some recent purchases. SO as you can see I have been a busy little bee. I want to thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog. I hope you are enjoying your stay.

Love notes tag for swap.MP4

I created this tag for a tag swap I am in. I hope you enjoy the video and thank you for watching

Sunday, February 7, 2010

In this layout ave a bowl. I used a bowl shape to make the two tags and the corner pocket that holds the tags. The papers used in this layout all are My Mind's Eye. I also edged the corner pocket with copper distress stickles and I accented the flower dots with the copper distress stickles. The tags are double sided. One side with pattern paper for photos and the other is graph paper for journaling. I also used brown making memories ribbon to tie a bow and then lace for the tag pull on both circle tags

This photo shows the tags removed from their spot and gives you a better look at the layout without the tags.

I had fun playing with this layout. The layout theme is play. I really played around. The main pattern paper and the other pattern paper came from my mind's eye. the smaller patten paper is edged with Tattered Angels blue skies glimmer mist I also edged the cardstock photo mat with that color. I loved tis technique. I have never tried this. I also have not used any flowers as accents on a layout. Te flowers used are prima. On the left flower I stamped polka dots and than overed the flower with pearl glimmer mist. The flower on the right is edged with blue skies glimmer mist.FOr the ticket journaling spot I used 3 differnet distress inks. I tood weathered wood and inked it first then I used broken china and finally faded jeans. After the ticket dries I sprayed blue skies on my glass cutting mat and took the ticket shape and dipped ech edge in te puddle of glimmer mist. I dipped my paint brush in blue skies and accented some of the flourishes on the lagrest square. I really had fun playing with my glimmer mist and flowers. The largest square is edged with glimmer mist as well.

This is my completed layout for the love of my life challenge. This showms my gatefold page closed. I used vintage findings alphas for my title. I used a martha stewart heart boarder punch to decorate the edge of the gatefold. The background pattern paper is from My Minds Eye. The brown embossed paper is just scrap from my stash.

This is my layout open. Inside I used handmade paper from Michaels I bought last year. The paper on the sides is from My minds eye.I took a heart punch out and inkedindie to create the hear shapes. I took a tag die cut I made with a sizzix die and tear it sand it love it paper. I also addedmaking memories ribbon on either side of the photo mat in the center.

This shows my layout with the journaling spots and photo tag removed from their original positions. The circles are meant to swivel and reveal a spot for journaling and photos.

This shows an up close look at my photo mat with the shadow stamping of the photo corners. I fist stamped with versa mark dazzling champagne and then went over it with distress ink in vintage photo. I also used my stamp ama jig to help with placement. On the other side is a spot for journaling.

This is a picture of my completed entry for the shadow stamping. The on the front of the top circle is my shadow stamping technique. I used a lace stamp in 2 shades of pigment ink. I also stamped a lace border and added a piece of lace on the bottom of the circle. The brad holds 3 circles to the page it also allows the top two circles to swivel to reveal a larger circle for photo placement. I used pop dots to elevate the bottom circle to allow for the photo mat to removed easily. The photo mat also has shadow stamping on it. The ribbon is a piece from my stash I also used making memoreis brads on the ribbon for accents.

I created 2 angular pockets using 2 different types of pattern paper and finished them off with ribbon to transition into to the background pattern paper. All the paper used is K&Company Madeline paper collection.I also created 2 tags to go into the pockets. One is a tag phot mat that fits a 4x6 photo and there is a journaling spot on the back. The other tag is smaller and also has room for journaling on the back

This shows the page with the tags removed.

Whats on my mind

Hello everyone,
How are you today. It is very cold in Indiana today. I just got done taking my son to school and my hubby-to-be is off to work. Ahhh some piece and quiet. My two bostons are laying in bed with me trying to keep warm. It is all of 10 degrees outside before you factor in a windchill. Yuck. Old man winter at his best.
Anyhow I started today much like every other day. I check my e-mail and than I visit the scrapbeach. What great community full of women who love scrapbooking and mini albums as much as I do. It always makes me happy to watch a mini album video from the beach because the women there are so talented.
I digress yet again. A week or so ago I got an idea to go through my paper and try to sort it differently. I got an idea from Kathryn the creator of life on the scrapbeach. She makes page kits. She puts enough goodies in a cropper hopper page kit folder to make a mini album or at the very least several pages. She includes pattern paper, cardstock, alpha stickers, brads, ribbon and other embellies to make a mini album. I thought this was a great idea. That way when I want to make an album I can just pull out a kit and get going. So I started with something easy like the paper pack I just bought. I got a cropper hopper page in progress container and put several sheets of pattern paper and matching cardstock. I love the fact that I put pattern paper and matching cardstock together. No more guessing when it comes time to get out my paper collection and try to match my existing cardstock to it.
So I then went to my loose paper collection. I never realized how much random paper I buy. So I decied to start with my favorite company Basic Grey. I have probably 10 different collections of BG in paper. So I started sorting thru it and now I am in the process of putting together several page kits and making sure I have enough pattern paper to make a mini. I have ordered some paper from the collections to complete a page kit. I even put info of what is missing on an index card with the name of the company and collection. I am well on my way to organization. If you have a great story of how you are getting organized or even an organizational tip please let me know. I would love to hear it.

The mini album kit I won

Hello everyone,
Again I hope his has been a great day for all of you. This is my second video. As I posted earlier my best friend the mail lady has brought me the mini album kit I won from a virtual crop I joined earlier this month. Kathryn at the scrapbeach.blogspot.com hosted a virtual crop and several generous ladies donated items for the crop that you could win. To enter the contest you must complete a scrapbook page and post it at the beach. The page you submitted is given a number and Kathryn will use a website that randomly draws numbers to pick the winners. It is truly a game of chance and luck. One of my entries won so I just got this beautiful and fin kit today. Kathryn made this kit. It is the snorkel line and it is full of fun colors and textures. I hope you enjoy the video. Please go visit us on the beach at thescrapbeach.blogspot.com. Thank you so much for watching the video and stopping by. Please feel free to leave a comment or ask a question.

new videos

Helo everyone,
Today has been a busy one for me and it is only noon. I got up early and did a video on a mini kit swap I am doing. I also did a haul video.
I made a few promises to myself for the new year. More of goals than resolutions. My first goal was to be more outgoing. I am a very shy person so I wanted to meet new people and try new things. I started on this goal early by creating this blog and joining Life on the {scrap}beach. My second goal was to find a swap club and join. I did this by joining a paper swa and mini kit swap on the scrapbeach. I also plan on joining a mini album swap.
I also come up with a word for the year. It is a word that will help me in some way become a better person. The word for this year is minimize. That word will refer to my waistline, scrapbooking goodies, my wardrobe and makeup. I have an abundance of stuff. I am going to work on getting rid of some of the clutter. In doing this I plan on donating some of these items to Goodwill or maybe throwing some extra goodies in my swaps. I plan on trying to get creative with my efforts to minimize. I do not want to just throw it in the trash if someone can benefit from my goals than all the better.
So please enjoy these two new videos I am posting and leave a comment or feel free to ask any questions.
Thank you for stopping by Tracy

Hello

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all having a great day. I am. I finally got to leave the house yesterday. Wow what a releif. I have been homebound since Thursday. It snowed so bad I could not leave the house. However, yesterday my hubby-to-be let me go to Archiver's. Yeah!! I have been super busy today. I made 2 videos for you to watch. One is mini I made for my cousin Terri. She lives in Texas. She is so super sweet. The other video is my weekly haul video I promised you guys. I know I am supposed to make them on Friday however, my goodies did not arrive until today. Since I couldn't leave the house to go get some goodies and the mailman did not deliver any goodies I could not do a haul video. No goodies no video. Sorry that is the way it works. So here you go 2 videos in one day. I hope you enjoy. I am sure this Friday I will have some more goodies for you. Thanks for stopping by and have great day
